Griff Adds Slitting Capacity to Contract Converting Facility
The Griff Network upgraded slitting capacity at its contract converting facility. Griff added a new slitter to its Fallsington, PA facility.
Griff Paper and Film continues to add equipment to its operations. On the heels of just adding new extrusion and slitting equipment to its graphic vinyl operation and two new coating lines to our silicone coating operation, Griff continued with this new duplex slitter for its contract converting operation.
This new slitter features 84” width capability with 70” unwind diameters and having 50” rewind diameters with 2” minimum slit widths. Automated knife and core loading setups will help with production efficiency and accuracy. This machine has automatic unloading with a weight capacity of 10,000 lbs.
Griff has been specializing in manufacturing and converting specialty paper, film, nonwovens, and laminates for almost 50 years. “Adding this slitter rewinder will continue our commitment to add capacity and strive for quicker lead times for our clients,” says Todd Phinn, Director.
