THE LITTLE PAPER WITH THE BIG IMPACT
Silicone Release Paper makes a big impact in a lot of little ways throughout our daily lives. From the bandage paper we peel away after a nasty paper-cut to the backing of every postage stamp we place, silicone release paper keeps fresh and tacky a wide variety of adhesives. While normal paper bonds to adhesives, release paper is designed specifically to be easy to pull away, without the risk of it falling off on its own.
Utilizing the natural properties of silicone, this release paper sticks to the adhesives without fusing. Just a little pressure is enough to pull away the coated paper from its adhesive, and the adhesive remains tacky and fresh for its intended application. Silicone release paper is also naturally water-resistant and anti-microbial.
Our release paper can be made with a 1- or 2-sided coating and comes in various degrees of release, thicknesses, sizes and more. We can convert it into sheets, rolls and die-cuts, and can offer them with printed back-sides.

SUBSTRATES
Application Tape
Application Tape simply does just that, it allows another printed object to be placed onto another surface without compromising an image or the lettering of that object.
• Simple Release
• Multiple Applications
• Easy Die-Cutting
A design that is printed onto a colored piece of vinyl by a printer can then be transferred onto a window or another surface by pressure or moisture. Such items as a die cut sticker that you see on the back of a car window or on a store front door. Application tape is the peel off release that is applied to that vinyl to then be released once attached to the surface.
Application tape can be applied to countless die cuts, sizes and colors. Application tape is greaseless, leaves behind minimal residue, and is easy to erase. Contact a representative today so we can customize an application tape that suits your application needs.
Casting Liners
Casting Liners are used in many industries that need a reliable working surface to cast their products onto for curing and/or solidification. After the product sets, Griff’s variety of release coatings and chemistries on the liner offers a very reliable release for our clients’ intended application.
• Lay Flat
• Smooth Consistent Release
• C2S Available
Casting Liners are available with both paper and film bases on a variety of different coatings with a low transfer and low extractable release. Different surface chemistries are also available such as gloss, matte and textures. All of the release coatings are formulated without solvents and polymerized using Green Technology. These products are manufactured in a climate controlled facility that is ISO 9001:2015 certified to maintain the highest level of quality.
BASE MATERIAL
Griff Release coatings are available on a wide variety of base papers, polycoated papers, glassine, SCK, and clay coated. Plastic films include PET, PP, PE.
Coated Paper
Griff’s coated paper is one of our most diverse products that can be applied to a number of different applications and usage. Often used for high quality printing of pictures, labels and marketing materials, this material has a variety of usage as far as magazines, newspapers and book covers.
Coated paper is more resistant to dirt, moisture and wear due to its chemical and mineral substances that are applied in order to achieve a higher opacity. As a result, this allows for a more durable product that can withstand human handling to such capacities of packaging for shipping as well as food. It can be produced in gloss, dull, matte, or silk finishes with keeping the functionality of a printable finished product.
The coatings allow the paper to achieve incredibly sharp, bright images. We have the capabilities of producing either a matte or gloss paper to whichever best suites your needs for the end application. Griff’s research and development team is here and easily accessible to help you discover the specific grade, mil and coatings you need for you or your clients’ finished product.

Griff’s non-silicone release paper has special solvent-based release coatings that contains no levels of silicone. This coating is an extremely thin, dry layer which adds no haze to the base paper giving the film a non-gloss smooth finish.
The non-silicone feature to the paper makes this an ideal product for applications where silicone cannot be tolerated such as electronics, and aerospace. This release is also highly used to support the backing opposite of adhesion to support the unwinding process which also gives a release without any ghosting.
The product can be used with a variety of adhesives, such as silicone SBR, natural rubber, and acrylic. The product is carefully produced to prevent dust or contamination from affecting its performance.
Release Liner
Griff’s Release Liners are designed to not only release the stress of adhesive paper or tape but to release the stress our clients have of monitoring quality control. Following hours of research and development along with industry standard testing, we have reached a result that can be customized for thousands of different applications.
This specific series of release liners has a very low transfer and low extractable release coatings that offer a consistent release. All of the release coatings are formulated without solvents and polymerized using Green Technology. These products are manufactured in a climate controlled facility that is ISO 9001:2015 certified to maintain the highest level of quality.
• Smooth Even Peel
• Custom Formulations
• Low Carbon Footprint
C Release is our standard line for most tape and label applications.
Premium Release Line (CF) offers superior release that is very smooth. CF Release is great for aggressive adhesives and hotmelts, high gloss casting sheets, and rubber based.
BC Release covers the most aggressive adhesives, hybrids, bitumens, and tars used extensively in the Building and Construction industry.
Fluorosilicone liners (FS) for use with silicone based adhesives.

Silicone One-Sided (S1S)
Silicone one-sided (S1S) release liners are used to protect the adhesive in various types of tape, label, rubber and sealant products. These materials come in a variety of coatings, release levels, and substrates to help achieve the purpose of the application.
Silicone one-sided release liners are the key components in the production and packaging of products that tend to stick in the manufacturing or the application of its use. Other usage of the one-sided silicone is to identify which side is to be released of the application for repurposing needs of that product.
In short, the silicone one-sided release liner is the backbone of the pressure sensitive tape, label, and related industries.

Silicone Release Stock
This material is a pre-coated base sheet used in the production of silicone release papers. The pre-coating we apply helps hold the silicone to the surface, which allows for better coverage and a lower pick up rate. In addition to the base stock, we also manufacture silicone release paper with one or two sides coated with a solvent-less silicone polymer. The silicone release paper can be used in a great number of applications. Uses vary from self-adhesive labels to construction products. Our silicone release paper can be cut into rolls, sheets, circles, or diecut shapes.
