PRODUCTS

Anti-Skid Paper

The unique properties of our anti-skid paper lock multiple tiers of a product together to construct a rock-solid, unitized load. Our anti-skid separator sheet provides resistance to grip the sheets for safe stacking. This separator sheet also works great for delicate or fragile products. Our Anti-skid paper has been designed to prevent the slippage of products stacked on pallets, cases, cartons, and bags, up to a 30 degree angle.

It is non-adhesive and can be used in automatic dispensers. The high durability makes for lasting reusable sheets. Standard tier sheets are available for less demanding applications. Rolls and other sizes are also available.

Bag Paper

Our bag paper is made from sulphate pulp, it has a greater bulk and rougher surface than Kraft paper. The greater bulk and rougher surface makes our bag paper ideal for the consumer industry, it is most often made into consumer sized bags. The weight of paper varies depending on the intended size of the bag.

Base Paper

Our base paper is a premium, high quality paper intended for further processing either by coating, laminating, or other finishes. It consists mainly of fibers, but can contain other additives depending on its intended future use.

Bleached Kraft

Our bleached Kraft paper is excellent for roll to sheet applications utilizing papers or films. The paper is made from Kraft pulp, which then undergoes the bleaching process. Bleaching is a chemical process used to whiten and purify the pulp. Bleaching also adds to the sheet’s strength and durability. It is a strong paper used principally for wrapping or packaging.

Please contact a representative today so they can tailor a bleached Kraft product to suit your particular need.

Kraft Paper

Our Kraft paper is a high strength paper made from chemical wood pulp and comes in both bleached and unbleached forms. It is a coarse material, and its unbleached grades are ideal for wrapping and packaging. This type of paper is very suitable for rigid box applications that need a rustic look.

Latex Paper

Our latex paper, also known as latex-impregnated paper, is a heavyweight saturated paper with high resistance to abrasion and moisture. During production of the paper it gets saturated with latex, making it strong, flexible, and durable.

Linerboard

Linerboard is a type of high quality Kraft Paperboard. The Linerboard is made from wood fiber derived from the Kraft process. Linerboard has excellent strength and is available in tensile, burst, and compression, as well as reduced roughness to aid superior print-ability and good water resistance.

Our high-grade Linerboard can be combined with other corrugating medium to produce the corrugated board used in the manufacture of boxes. We can apply coating on treatments to the Linerboard based on customer specification. An example of a useful coating treatment is innovative acoustical liners with a surface coating to repel moisture while remaining breathable.

Coating treatments available:

  • Unbleached

  • Bleached

  • Bleached Top

  • Color

  • Bursting Strength

  • Water Repellency

  • Folding Endurance

Linerboard can be produced in a variety of thicknesses based on customer need.

Primarily used to make corrugated paper box cartons and displays, interleaving, and folding cartons, Linerboard has limitless applications.

Other uses for Linerboard include:

  • Insulation Backing

  • Cobb Paper

  • Floor Covering

  • Pallet Liners

  • Slip Sheets

  • Protective overwrap for shipping

Linerboard is available wholly or partially composed of recycled material, as well as synthetic fiber grade.

Masking Paper

Our masking paper is high quality Kraft paper designed to enhance cutting and stripping accuracies. It prevents paint bleeding and resists water soaking to a certain degree. Our grades are balanced to prohibit undesirable light penetration. The ideal industry for masking paper use is the painting industry because of our masking paper’s paint-repelling properties. It is used as a protective barrier during the painting process.

Matte Coatings

Sometimes silicone is not the answer to your release needs. Matte film can do much more than function as a simple release layer: it diffuses light to soften the glare of professional photos, adds a layer of scratch-resistance to furniture, and adds visual appeal to labels. Whether it functions as a heavy-duty surface for non-stick conveyor belts and pallets, or on a chair you sit in at a fast food restaurant, matte film makes a gentle impact in our everyday lives.

    • No Glare
    • Non-Silicone Release
    • Softening, Eye-Catching

Often, we mechanically texturize the film itself by either removing microscopic layers once it has dried (known as “sub-micron embossing”), or by cooling the molten film on a texturized roll. As always, our films can come in a wide range of colors and sizes, and can be die-cut, sheeted, or made into rolls of varying widths.

Medium Paper

Our medium paper is a paperboard grade paper used to form the inner, fluted layers of corrugated board. In conjunction with linerboard it is ideal for the packaging industry, where corrugated boxes are widely used.

Foil Paper

Our foil paper is created using an extremely thin caliper metal which is laminated to high quality paper for added strength. Our foil paper is tough, pliable, and wrinkle-resistant. The foil can be top-coated to improve ink receptivity. The shine and strength of the paper makes it ideal for labels and box-wrap.

Please contact a representative today so they can tailor a foil paper product to suit your particular need.

Glassine Paper

Our Glassine Paper is:

  • Grease resistant

  • Non-absorbent

  • Has a high air resistance

This material is smooth and transparent, and is made in white and a variety of colors. It protects items from moisture and can be easily creased and folded. It also has the ability to accept ink or markers.

Greaseproof Paper

Our greaseproof paper is made from unbleached base. This paper has a protective barrier that resists grease and prevents fats from soaking through. It has a variety of uses in the kitchen, such as wrapping food and lining cooking tins and pans.

Please contact a representative today so they can tailor a greaseproof paper product to suit your particular need.

Metallized Paper

Not only is metallized paper visually appealing, but it is also durable, cost-effective, and food-safe. Imparting a modern and high-quality design, metallized paper is some of the most trusted and popular materials across many industries.

Our metallized paper is:

  • Flexible

  • Compostable

  • Food-safe

The material is created by vaporizing aluminum into deposits on paper. This process allows the material to be up to 100x thinner than aluminum foil while having the flexibility and weightlessness of paper. Metallized paper makes excellent vapor/heat barriers and insulators, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications.

Metallized papers are available in a wide variety of formats, sizes and thicknesses. Orders can be tailored to fit customer needs.

Parchment Paper

Our parchment paper is more than a baker’s best friend; it’s a necessary kitchen tool, a display for important documents, and an industrial release paper all in one. Important legal documents can be printed and preserved on our parchment’s smooth, protective surface.

Superior to wax paper for its moisture, grease, and heat resistances, our parchment is an industrial release paper that can be used for sifting, baking, transferring, and packaging, and then wiped clean for reuse. Its natural low-dust interleaving makes it the perfect fit for anything from food packaging to graphics.

Parchment paper is made by running paper pulp through a bath of sulfuric acid, partially dissolving the paper. This process makes the material dense, naturally non-stick, stable, and heat resistant up to 420 degrees Fahrenheit, similar to plastic. Similar products include wax paper, grease-proof paper, and glassine.

Our 100% vegan, food-safe parchment paper is Kosher and FDA certified and can come coated with silicone or Quilon on one or both sides.

Parchment paper is available in:

  • Sheets

  • Rolls

  • Die-cuts

  • Muffin cups

  • Pastry bags

This product can also be fully customized to fit customer specifications.

Polycoated Paper

Our polycoated paper is a complex mix of paper and polyethylene. It is used for food packaging and other related packagings.

Quilon Paper

Quilon paper’s excellent release qualities are perfect for cooking, especially frozen food, pastries, candy, and baking. Reduce food waste by placing Quilon at the bottom of your baking pans, to help prevent the product from sticking while in the oven. Greaseproof quilon sheets are great for easily removing pizza, chicken, and meats without leaving any food debris.

Quilon is approved by the FDA and the USDA for the use of meat and poultry, and is approved for Kosher use.

Available in:

  • Sheets

  • Die-cuts

  • Rolls

Tissue Paper

Whether for decoration or hygiene, tissue paper holds up to a wide variety of uses. Tissue paper is associated with absorbency, volume, brightness, stretch, appearance, comfort and strength.

Packaging Uses:

  • Liners

  • Stuffing

  • interleaf

While our tissue paper is perfect for packaging, it also has the wet-strength to stand up to heavy-duty applications like lamination.

We convert our tissue paper in-house to make it easier for our customers. Whether it is needed for decorative wrapping, artistic packaging, or household uses, Griff has the customer covered.

Available as either virgin or recycled pulp, we tailor the formulation to meet your engineering demands and print quality while lowering the carbon footprint. Our tissue paper comes in natural kraft or bleached. The thickness and dimensions are fully customizable, and we can laminate it to other materials.

Waste Paper

Waste paper is recycled paper that cannot be used as the surface of a sheet. It is usually the inside layer of a 3 layer sheet.

High grade waste paper has the most value and consists of pulp substitute and de-inking. Low grade waste paper consists of newspaper or corrugated and mixed paper.

Wallpaper Base

Our wallpaper base has:

  • Great printability

  • High color retention rate

  • High thermostability

  • Great runnability

Wallpaper base is a comparatively high-bulking paper, designed to have good opacity and to be as non-curling as possible so that it will lie flat when paste or coating is applied. It is well sized to resist excessive moisture penetration.

Wax Paper

Our wax paper is made with waxes from refined petroleum-based products. It is a semi-transparent, moisture-proof paper. These characteristics make wax paper an ideal paper for use in the food industry for covering food and lining pans.
