Griff offers a large range of coatings that add value and functionality to many base substrates, both paper and film. Our UV coatings are 100% reactive and use no solvents – making the coating process much greener than traditional coating techniques and offers our customers the ability to lower the carbon footprint of their products. Functionalities include release coatings, print receptive coatings, hard coating, soft coating, surface modification, etc.
Additionally, we also have the ability to provide Corona Treatment to increase the surface energy of materials. With this treatment, ink wettability and adhesion are improved. Our materials can be Corona treated in-line so as not to affect lead times.

CASTING LINERS
CASTING LINERS
Casting Liners are available with both paper and film bases on a variety of different coatings with a low transfer and low extractable release.
Griff’s print receptive coating is applied to a wide variety of films including nylon, PET and OPP. These print receptive coatings are usually primers applied to a substrate to host various types of inks.
Hard Coating films offer an excellent transparency with low haze characteristics, keeping the quality high on a number of different surfaces such as glass, plastic, and metal, and more!
Matte film can do much more than function as a simple release layer: it diffuses light to soften the glare of professional photos, adds a layer of scratch-resistance to furniture, and adds visual appeal to labels
